Dear @polyvore,I want to start by saying thank you for all the beautiful memories and friends I made here,and for giving me the chance to express my fashion sense.My story among you guys begins two years ago,when I first got here with high hopes of releasing my inner creativity and love for fashion,but due to some very difficult personal problems I had to leave the site for some time, but now I am back for good,with a new account.What caught my attention immediately when I arrived in here long ago,was not only the instant possibility of turning myself into a fashion designer,but also the fact that the presence and dedication of the team behind this fabulous project called Polyvore, was making me feel like being in a big and beautiful family. I think this is the secret that makes this site so popular and unique,it is conceived from within its heart,because you guys put so much effort and continuous love,in order to make us all feel special.I believe that many lives were changed by interacting with Polyvore,each one in a different and extraordinary way.I've met in here people that are lonely,others are struggling with serious health problems,youngsters that are shy and cannot fit into society very well, single mothers,aspiring designers,retired women,cancer survivors,fashion lovers,and the list can go on, but they are all highly gifted and talented people that were looking for a place to share shopping,fashion ,creativity,conversation, activities, hobby interests,friendship,and you've helped them to find a common passion,called Polyvore.But Polyvore it’s not just a simple site,it’s a heart, because you've brought communication and understanding between people disregarding their religion, race, sex, living and culture to another level , you’ve promoted the philosophy of equality,you've empowered us all,you've pioneered a globally collective fashion statement, you've touched hearts,transformed destinies and encouraged people to change their lives into better,including mine,because I've taken the risk of quitting my job,moving abroad,leaving my family and friends behind,in order to follow my dream,which is studying to become a Designer, and for all this : I THANK YOU ! Because Christmas it’s coming,and I am far from home,and our classes begin short after this holiday,which doesn’t gives me the chance to go and visit my family that I haven’t seen for a long time, I took the opportunity that this beautiful contest gave me to tell you that my greatest wish from my “Holiday Wishlist “ it’s an I-phone or an I-pad, because it will give me the possibility to send away my sadness and regrets of not being able to see my family and friends,and will make the distance go away until I finish my design studies,by keeping in touch with them.
